What in the Sam Hill?????
U make a brother want to dive deep into your treasure box and explore your love tunnel. Then slowly lick and suck those nipples until u scream stop...lol...just a brother way of saying hello.....
And another:
Hot man! Would luv to fuk u sometime. No strings, no relationship, just fukkin. If dat excites u, hit me bak. If not, peace.
First of all.....I know I don't look THAT goddamn good. So stop exaggerating.
What in the hell is WRONG with people? I've been on A4A a little more frequently these days (which is ironic because I have less time). I haven't connected with anyone, but people are contacting me because of LAZARUS, which is great news. I've always maintained that A4A was 99 percent for the promotion of my novel and 1 percent entertainment.
It's not a bad website -- it's probably one of the best dating sites I've seen around.
But I have high standards. I'm not going to respond to notes that don't meet my intellectual standards. I went to college, bitch! LOL....that means approach me like you and I both have some goddamned sense.
And I am a gentleman, dammit! A GENTLE MAN! Treat me gently and treat me like a man....don't talk about my love tunnel and sucking my nipples.
UGH!

Well, I wanna be mad at the brother and say that he completely disregarded the rules of the English language with the way he spelled words like "fuk," "bak" and "dat," (a reeeal pet peeve of mine) but I gotta admit, those metaphors are PRICELESS! "Treasure box"?? "LOVE TUNNEL"?? At least he captured the heat of the moment...and if memory serves me correctly, metaphors and similes always gave people the MOST trouble in class back when I was in school. So we gotta give the man SOME credit...But now, seriously, let's get to the root of the problem. Is this a man who is trying to be suave? Or is this man baring his soul, showing us just how desperate he REALLY is-- a cry for help, so to speak? I think we've all encountered situations like this one...We, as men who date men--PEOPLE who date other PEOPLE--have rights too. So what do we do to make sure that another brother doesnt have to suffer through what Rashid has ( blatant disrespect)? Any ideas?

...and one more thing before i quit yappin'. What this brother said to Rashid reminds me soooo much of a line from a song by R&B crooner Joe that I just GOTTA quote it (and forgive me if I misquote): "I'll light a thousand candles all around/ Show me to the subway, I'll go down..." THE SUBWAY!? 'Nuff said.

I gave up my membership on A4A after only a few weeks. I get getting a solicitation to f**k from someone in a nearby town. There was no other agenda, no foreplay, no conversation. Straight up, hook up. Probably wouldn't respect me the next morning - lol.

On the one hand, at least you're getting responses. All I get from my A4A, Yahoo Personals and Match.com listings are responses from white guys unable to read the line where I say I'm looking for BLACK MEN ONLY, or *winks* with no messages left. So be proud somebody noticed you.
But it points up the ages old dilemma: Where can an intelligent, interesting, successful Black man meet a like-minded individual in a respectful way, where the possibility of forming a real relationship can exist? Bars, clubs and online don't seem to be working for me.
