Today's teens have it rough...everyone around them is superficial and nihilistic. The most difficult thing is rising above that nihilism.

I don't get embarrassed too easily....maybe farting in the fourth grade. But only one person heard me. And now I fart all the time, so screw it.

I don't want to give specifics..... but someone who once outed me (before I was ready) had a very public embarrassment. I felt bad for the person, but I also thought "serves you right." I guess that's not an "I told you so" but it's the closest I have.
